Guided Build Session

Please read this before you book. It explains what the session is, how it works, and the ground rules that keep it great for both of us.

Book the session
1

What this is

This is a hands-on, 3-hour guided working session for product managers, project managers, and UX designers who want to learn to build with AI. We take one real idea of yours and, working together live, turn it into a working, clickable prototype using the Claude suite: Claude and Claude CoWork to think through and spec the idea, Claude Design for the screens, UI, and flows, and Claude Code to build it. You drive; I guide. The goal is not just the prototype. It's that you leave able to run this loop again yourself.

2

Scope

This session is scoped to the product side of the work, from idea to a validation-ready prototype, and intentionally stops before production engineering. It is about using generative AI tools to design and build products. It is not machine learning engineering, data science, or building, training, fine-tuning, or evaluating models (evals).

3

What to expect: the flow

  • Kickoff call (20–30 min). After you book, we start with a short call to align on the problem you want to tackle, confirm it's a good fit for the session, and agree on what to have ready.
  • The 3-hour build session. We schedule this together after the kickoff. We spec the idea with Claude, design it in Claude Design, and build a working prototype in Claude Code, live, with you at the keyboard.
  • What you leave with. A working prototype of your idea, the repeatable Claude suite loop to run again on your own, and a clear line on what to hand to engineering.
4

Format & conferencing

Sessions are delivered virtually. I host over my own Zoom, and you'll get the meeting link with your calendar invite. If your organization would rather we use your own conferencing tool, just let me know in advance and we'll set that up before the session.

5

What's included, and what isn't

Included

The kickoff call; the 3-hour guided build session; live guidance and the working method; and the prototype we build together.

Not included

Ongoing support after the session; productionizing or shipping the prototype; engineering, QA, or long-term development; machine learning engineering, data science, or model training, fine-tuning, and evals; and guaranteed business outcomes or results.

6

Before we start: what you'll need

  • One real idea you actually want to move on (we'll confirm it on the kickoff).
  • Your own laptop, a stable internet connection, and your normal working tools open.
  • Access to the AI tools we'll use (the Claude suite: Claude, Claude CoWork, Claude Code, and Claude Design). I'll confirm exactly what you need, including any accounts or subscriptions, on the kickoff call so there are no surprises.
7

Scheduling, rescheduling & no-shows

  • All sessions are booked through my scheduling link; you'll receive calendar invites and reminders automatically.
  • Rescheduling is free with at least 48 hours' notice. To reschedule, email me; my email is available through Maven, and I'll share it on the kickoff call.
  • Late reschedules or cancellations (under 48 hours) and no-shows may forfeit the session. I'll always try to offer one good-faith reschedule where I reasonably can.
8

Refunds

Before you book, you can take a free kickoff call with me to make sure this is the right fit; grab a time from the booking page. Because that fit-check is available to everyone up front, sessions are non-refundable once booked. If you need to change the date, see the rescheduling terms above, and I'll always work with you on timing.

9

What you build & who owns it

Your ideas are yours, and so is what we build. You own all the specs, designs, and prototypes we create in the session. I build using my own Claude account during the session, so at the end the work is exported and handed over to you, provided in whatever formats the tools we use support, and to the extent their export features allow. I claim no ownership over your work, and I won't retain or reuse it beyond describing my work in general terms. I won't share your confidential details or use your materials without your permission.

If you'd prefer the session run entirely inside your organization's environment, I'm happy to use your organization's Claude account instead. Just provide access in advance of the guided session so we're set up before we start.

10

Confidentiality

I treat everything you share before, during, and after the session as confidential and won't disclose it to anyone. The session itself, and any recording of it, is confidential to your organization: I won't share it outside your organization, and it should not be shared beyond your organization either. If your organization requires a formal NDA, we can arrange that separately before we meet. Just mention it on the kickoff.

11

Tools & third-party services

The session relies on third-party tools, including the Claude suite (Claude, Claude CoWork, Claude Code, and Claude Design). You're responsible for your own accounts and subscriptions to any tools you use, and for complying with their terms. I'm not responsible for third-party outages, changes, or pricing, though if a tool is down on the day we'll reschedule at no cost.

12

Conduct & recording

These sessions work best as a respectful, focused collaboration, and I'll bring the same. Sessions are not recorded by default. If I'm hosting on my own account and a session is to be recorded, I'll ask your explicit permission first and send you the recording afterward. If you're hosting on your organization's account, you're free to record at your discretion. Either way, any recording stays confidential, as covered in the Confidentiality section above.

13

No guarantees & limitation of liability

Guidance and prototypes are provided on a best-effort basis for exploration and validation. A prototype from this session is not production-ready and shouldn't be shipped to customers without proper engineering, security, and quality review. Nothing in the session is legal, financial, or security advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability related to the session is limited to the amount you paid for it.

14

Questions

Any questions before you book? We'll cover everything on the kickoff call. That's what it's for. I look forward to building with you.
