SharePoint custom forms now support list attachments

We heard your feedback loud and clear! We finally have support for attachments in list custom forms! All you have to do to get the attachments support is to add the updated Attachments control to your custom form.

To check out this attachment control, in the PowerApps Studio, select the SharePoint Form data source and scroll down the Fields section to select the Attachments field:

Once the attachment field is selected, you will see the new control added to your form:

That’s about it – Save and Publish. You now have successfully added the attachments control to your custom form.

If you create a new item, you will see the option to add attachments and save back to SharePoint.

You can add and delete attachments in the New and Edit forms while the Display form will show the available attachments. Note that there is no preview mode available.

Of course, the attachments support is only available in the custom forms. We will be doing more improvements to the attachments control but we hope this will get you started with managing attachments in custom forms!
